History

Date of Birth: February 14th, 1970
Home: Litochoro, Piera, Greece
Family: Ilias and Amalia Aikaterine (parents)
The Awakening: Personal Tragedy (born in a village in the shadow of Mount Olympus, her mediumship began early, and she stayed a quiet girl who always saw the ghosts, had no friends, and tried to commit suicide by the age of 12 by leaping from the elevated acropolis, but the NDE spiked her awareness of the Hidden World even worse than before), 1982
Mentor: Sappho Anastoti
The Test: Trial by Knowledge (Persephonists of the Pomegranate Deme heard from ghosts of her Awakening and went to the hospital where she recovered from the suicide attempt; they welcomed her into the sect and took her from her home and taught her the ways of the Euthanatoi, yet she remained forever miserable)
Comrades: Frank Bridges, Yohla Tupac
Key Event #1: Awe & Wonder (after acquiring the basics, Calandra decided on the course to find Elysium and escape this world, and so she pursued mastery of the rites that would let her enter the Shadowlands, which her mentor denied her while she was so young)
Key Event #2: Personal Tragedy (she thought she discovered a short-cut spell but it turned out to be a trick of the Shadow-eaten; her few friends among the Restless Dead protected and saved her, though some paid for it with Harrowings; the sect scolded the young mystick, but she ignored them)
Key Event #3: Awe & Wonder (she uncovered the agama sojourn on her own after years of experimentation, leaving Greece for America, and settling in death-friendly New Orleans, and from there began to thoroughly explore the Underworld's Far Shores in search of paradise)
Key Event #4: Awe & Wonder (she returned to the Skinlands periodically to avoid dissolution, but even then she focused on networking and developing alliances and friendships only with the Restless Dead, often doing so by eliminating the peskier necromancers out there)
Transition: Shift in Purpose (though she acquired a tentative idea of where Elysium lay in the Tempest, the local chantry's Euthanatoi called upon her aid more and more, especially in dealing with the Giovanni vampires trying to muscle in on her ghostly friends' turf)

Weakness
Dead is Dead

Calandra doesn't want to be "alive" in the sense most people understand it. She wants to dwell in Heaven, beyond the land of the living and beyond the grasp of Oblivion. That realm is not for her, at least not yet.

Likelihood of Corruption

High.

Calandra often puts herself at risk of corruption from the Shadow-eaten, not to mention she spends an inordinately dangerous amount of time on the Other Side.
